Optional integrations

These two connections are optional and advanced. Everything else in the app works without them. Set them up only if you need them.

A. Wix Forms - engineer visit reports (optional)

Goal: an engineer submits your Wix Form after a visit, and the report lands on the right case by itself.

What you need: a Wix Form (for example "Engineer Visit Report") and the ability to create a Wix Automation on your site.

  1. In the app: Settings -> Engineer visit forms -> press Generate intake secret (or Rotate secret). Copy it now - it is shown once. The secret starts with wfr_; treat it like a password.
  2. Note the intake URL shown in that card - this is where submissions go.
  3. In your Wix dashboard: Automations -> New Automation -> Start from scratch.
    • Trigger: Wix Forms -> Form submitted -> pick your engineer form.
    • Action: Send HTTP request (or "Send webhook"), method POST, to the intake URL, passing the form's fields plus your secret.
  4. Submit a test report. If it contains a case number (WR-2026-000123), an order number or a serial, it files onto the case automatically and shows as LINKED. Otherwise it waits in Cases -> Unmatched engineer reports for manual linking.

The detailed field names and security notes are in the repo doc docs/engineer-form-intake.md.

B. Customer email replies into cases (optional)

Goal: when a customer answers one of the app's emails, their reply appears as a message on the case instead of getting lost.

This is configured outside the app in your mailbox - for example with Zoho Mail: a filter watches for the case number in the subject (WR-) and a small script forwards the message to the app's inbound-email endpoint with a shared secret. It needs access to your mail provider, so it is normally set up by whoever manages your email. Ask support if you want this enabled - there is nothing to click inside the app itself.

Once running, replies appear in the case Conversation like customer portal messages, and repeated deliveries are de-duplicated.
